We work closely with our customers to ensure they completely understand our automatic gate process. From the initial consultation and quote, to the design, fabrication and installation.
1. CHOOSE YOUR DESIGN
Browse from hundreds of gates within our automatic gates gallery to start gathering ideas. This is a great starting point to decide what style of gate you are interested in, and some of the features you might want to add. Want to add your family initials into the gate? We do that. Looking to match the stone on your gates pillars to your home? We do that too!
Each and every gate we build is unique and custom built to your exact needs.
2. CONSULTATION & QUOTE
Once you have determined the basic style of gate you are looking for, we’ll gather a few more details. We’ll measure off your gates potential footprint, the features and components you would like and any other details.
From there we will be able to provide you a quote with a complete breakdown of costs, timeline and schedule!
3. DESIGN
Once the quote is approved our team get to work bringing your gate ideas to life. We’ll create a design that matches both your home and personal taste. Whether you are looking for a classic design or modern gate, we’ve designed hundreds of gates and confident you will be proud to have your new gate at the entrance of your home.
Best of all we utilize our inhouse CNC machine to design accent features such as custom emblems and other unique features.
4. FABRICATION
Once your gates design is completed and approved our expert welders get to work in our state-of-the-art fabrication shop in Dewinton. We’ll fabricate your gate, sub-frame, pillars and everything needed to make the installation process quick and easy.
Our 4000 square foot shop is capable of fabricating just about anything up to 75′ long! We also have a large yard for storage and utilize a 5 tonne bridge crane and 5 tonne zoom boom. We’re CWB and ABSA B31.1/3 certified for both in shop and field welding.
5. POWDER COATING AND FINISHING
After your gate is fabricated it’s time for the finishing work. Each gate is powder coated to produce a superior, durable finish that is highly resistant to scratches, chipping, fading, and corrosion compared to traditional liquid paint.
This eco-friendly process releases minimal VOCs and allows for efficient, uniform application across complex surfaces, providing cost-effective and long-lasting protection for your gate.
6. GATE INSTALLATION
After your gate is fabricated it’s time for the installation step. The driveway is excavated and the subframe is placed into position with concrete piles either dug by hydrovac or mechanical mthods. We’ll also run any underground power lines, hydrovac some holes for your keypad and pour footings for any additional fence posts too.
The area is then backfilled with road gravel or hot asphalt and packed down using a bobcat or tamper. Our team will test each component and make any final adjustments to ensure everything works correctly and sit down with you to show you all the features, and how to properly care for your gate.
